If you or a Veteran you know needs help, please contact our Legion Service Officer Michel Abourousse. The services provided by Michel are free of charge, whether or not you are a Legion member. Our representation role is mandated through legislation.​​

​Definition of a veteran
“A Veteran is any person who is serving or who has honorably served in the Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth or its wartime allies, or as a Regular Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or as a Peace Officer in a Special Duty Area or on a Special Duty Operation, or who has served in the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command during wartime.”

Assist you with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)

Speak with you about assistance in adjusting to civilian life

Help you with financial assistance

Help you with Mental Health and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Help you to find a home

Help to facilitate face-to-face visits with Veterans, providing them with an opportunity to have a social visit with a Legion volunteer and to raise concerns or identify needs that might be addressed by Veterans Affairs Canada.

Help you to support your family through a range of programs and referral services.
