The Otterburn Legion Memorial Curling Club (OLMCC) is proud of its history and its place in the community and offers its members a rewarding sporting experience that is suitable for every age group and range of experiences. For the novice to skilled, our club provides a lively and engaging atmosphere that is welcoming to all and allows members to enjoy a season of enriching sports and social activity – to any degree of involvement they prefer.

Junior Program

The Junior program is designed to promote the sport of curling among children from the ages 7-15. The program is built for learning the skills and etiquette of curling.

Throughout this 10-week program, one lesson of 120 minutes per week, children will focus on ice safety and delivery mechanics from qualified coaches in a safe and caring environment. The OLMCC Junior program is a great way to step into the sport and an excellent tool to foster junior players’ development.

EASY TO LEARN: It takes only a few hours of instruction and practice for most people to feel reasonably comfortable on the ice, but you can enjoy learning the strategy of the game for years.

NO AGE LIMIT:  Children can begin curling as young as 7 years old and adults can continue to curl well beyond 80 years of age.  Curling is an activity you can enjoy your entire life.  It’s never too late to start!

Costs:

  • Oct-Dec $80

  • Jan-Mar $100

  • Full Season $160

  • Sundays 9:00-11:00 or 12:00-2:00
